Job Description: Shopify Developer (2+ years of experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of custom Shopify themes and applications. You will play a crucial role in creating seamless, high-performance, and visually appealing e-commerce experiences, ensuring our clients’ online stores are optimized for both user experience and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications from scratch.
• Customize existing Shopify themes to meet specific client requirements, brand guidelines, and business goals.
• Implement and modify Shopify’s Liquid templating language to create dynamic and custom features.
• Integrate third-party applications, APIs (both RESTful and GraphQL), and services to extend store functionality (e.g., payment gateways, marketing tools, shipping providers).
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed, and ensure responsive design across all devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and marketing teams to translate design concepts and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in existing Shopify stores.
• Ensure that all development adheres to best practices for SEO, security, and web accessibility.
• Utilize version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative development and code management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform updates, e-commerce trends, and web development technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
• Proven proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expertise in Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
• Experience with Shopify’s APIs (Admin and Storefront) for building custom features and integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• A solid understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them in Shopify.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
